They took Dave by ambulance up to Erie early yesterday morning and got the heart catherization and stent placement done very quickly. By the time I arrived it was over and I could talk to the doctor. It all went well. But I was surprised at how closed off Dave's arteries were in those 2 spots. How did that happen? He (and I too) are on cholesterol ( Read more... )

They are keeping Dave in the hospital till they can find a bed in one of the bigger hospitals in Erie or Pittsburgh. They did find blockage, at least in one place very serious. They don't do heart catherization here - he needs to go to a bigger hospital. He spent yesterday and last night in an ER room because they don't have any regular rooms ( Read more... )
